Seeing your parrot flying off into the clouds is one of the most heart breaking moments a bird owner could experience.

While it is not the business of the parrot society to locate your lost bird, we can suggest if you lose a bird:

• Contact all the vets in your area
• Contact the SPCA
• List your bird on the Pets On The Net website - they also have useful tips on what to do in this situation
